Bush Granted Airtime During "Fantasia, Redux"

Go to http://abc.go.com/, scroll down to the schedule, and it's apparent that ABC has granted Bush's request for airtime during the last hour of "Path to 9/11." Nice timing. He's gonna have a pep rally for his sheeple.

Fantasia is Disney's shining moment. That's the irony of the entire situation. A corporation that has entertained generations of children and adults, and has been pilloried in the past for its liberal values, is now cooperative the greatest right-wing fantasy of all. The operatic satire of the whole situation is what really gets me...

...has a nice ring to it. Plenty of good films have been the butt of satire and still remain good films.

2. So the sponsors have placed a commercial in there after all.

If they give Bush time to speak during this thing, it's going to make it perfectly clear who the sponsor is, and who ABC is kissing up to. I think that would be a PR nightmare for the Bush team, personally.

When it rains it pours...look at what Condi and Rummy have said in the last couple of weeks about dissenters, and what The Decider has said this week. God knows what Cheney will say tomorrow on MTP, but surely it will be apocalyptic. It's definitely a showdown!

People are going to be confused about what Disney cartoon they're watching.

Of course, maybe "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_White_and_the_Seven_Dwarfs_%281937_film%29)would also be applicable. Cheney as "Grumpy", Rummy as "Happy", Ashcroft as "Dopey", Powell as "Doc", and Condi as the "Witch/Queen." Fill in the blanks for the others.

Seriously, this concerns me... It really sickens me that this miniseries is going to air, and additionally, this asshole is going to host pep rally during the last hour of it.

I'm wondering if the Rovians are hoping that many Americans will see a 30 minute delay, and say WTF, we know how this is going to end, we've got to get up and go to work in the morning, and simply shut it off...thus, not seeing the really crucial ineptitude that occurred in 2001.
