No tv at all for next two days....boycott all of them and
only use the internet. The other networks could have had some spectacular shows to counteract this crap and they didn't. It is mostly right wing stuff anyway. Why watch any tv at all until this is all over?

4. Ted Koppel
unabashedly tells the truth, then does so some more by freely sharing his Establishment sympathies. A wonderful blend.

2. Because I like football
So I'm watching TV. You do what you want, I think I'll do a realistic boycott, such as no more ABC news and no more Disney stuff.

6. Why can't you just watch football on the other networks....
this kind of attitude is exactly why this country will be destroyed by these people. We can't even get it together enough for boycotts, which are really the only power we have left!

8. Mostly I do watch football on Fox
But I guess we aren't supposed to do that either. Please don't tell me about boycotting. In the 80's, there was a massive Union led boycott against a large food processor due to their unfair labor practices, treatment of employees, and other things. This company is now considered one of the more Union friendly companies out there. But boycotting television is a bit different. We all have things that we watch, be it sports, news, entertainment, or whatever it is. I rarely watch TV except sports anymore anyway. But I will not give up my sporting events.

3. Why watch at all
The political shows are partisan hackfests, the newscasts seem almost designed NOT to inform, the few opposition shows such as Jon Stewart and Colbert do some damage by providing people a "safe" outlet to express their dissatisfaction. Conformity presented as dissent.

The rest is mind-numbing mass-market entertainment crap that devolves your brain and offers elucidation on nothing. Even the drones on sports telecasts are unbearable and self-serving syncophants who exist at the pleasure of and for the benefit of the industry.

Maybe catch a ball game with the sound off? Just remember to boo and hiss whenever they flash the gratuitous shots of the bourgouis ownership

7. we do watch baseball with the sound off....and that is about it
for our tv viewing except for some remodeling shows on HGTV....but not for the next 48 hours. It is boycott time, even if it is only us.

5. Young Frankenstein is airing at the same time as Path to 911;
and a tribute to one of my favorite comics, Legends: Rodney Dangerfield, is on at 9 p.m.
