The whole show is a GOP campaign ad, so why wouldn't the Big Cheese put in an appearance? I'll be surprised if the show doesn't finish with the line, "I'm George W. Bush and I approve of this message."

the complaints have been that this thing unfairly shifts the blame to the Clinton Administration. For Bush to pop on in the middle of it... it's like he's passing the buck HIMSELF. It seems twice as bad.
