I guess I don't get it. I thought the Freepers would like Katie so I went over to see what they were saying.

CBS= Bullshit News

Katie= Jane Fonda

CBS= Leftist garbage

I am sure they love Ann Coulter though yeah? Or maybe strict Christian Righters do
not appreciate her outspokenness. When people start pointing out the 'badness' of
Islam using oppression of women as an example I have to wonder what makes
Christian extremism any better.

Anecdote; When living in Saudi Arabia a few years back I was amused by a new Starbucks
store being forced to cover the breasts of the woman on their logo. Did I not read just

I predicted that CBS was making a HUGE mistake and would lose most of their viewership as a result.

She "kisses up" to Clinton and thinks her air-headed style has a more blatant than normal "Liberal slant." I guess part of it is not trusting most of the media. They have to cover their bases, after all.

15. I had a brief conversation yesterday with a friend who

works for the CBS news affiliate in Los Angeles. He thinks Couric is an embarrassment and the decision to hire her was an attempt by CBS to push "news" even further into the realm of entertainment. He thinks she'll flop not for political reasons but because the audience for the half hour nightly news just wants news, not celebrity interviews or cutsy asides about the kids or anything else. Big miscalculation.
