Would our country really collapse if Repubs win next election?

Yes, they pretend the huge debt is no big problem because it is such a small percentage of the GDP - as if the GDP belonged to the GOP to do with as they wish? Yes, they have divided our nation and have shut out the opposition Party in Congress. Yes, they have made horrendous decisions in foreign policy and in going to pre-emptive wars. Yes, they will attack Democrats personally until their dying breath as the Democrats continue to talk about "policies" such as college education at an affordable price.

But, if the Repubs win the next election, will our country actually collapse? Will we go into a depression or a civil war? Will we be worse off 2 years or 4 years from now? Shouldn't we give them another opportunity just to see if they can really destroy our country, once and for all?

If the Dems don't win BOTH houses of congress in Nov. I think we can absolutely kiss the fair SCOTUS goodby for the rest of our lifetimes! Roe will be overturned, aPresident will be given almost total ppower to do whatever he wants without oversight, SS probably be privatized, Gay rights will be non-existant, there will be NO stem cell research in the US, and as to the economy, I think it will head into a severe recession.

Just my opinions though.

5. I think a great many people will give up on the political system

if the pubs win. People will be looking for justice in a different way, probably violent. This election could be a turning point. Everyone knows about election fraud, and the host of lies perpetrated by this admin. Many think that big corps simply have too much to lose financially to allow a fair election.

and their continued rule of our nation will finish off the USA once and for all. Our country will continue to be gutted and filleted. I, just don`t see any good things coming for the average person. If we fail in this `06 election, the `08 will be gone too.
