Bush Flip-Flops on bringing bin-Laden to Justice--LINKS
to whitehouse.gov text, where there are also video links:

Here's an idea for a web or TV ad or YouTube: Picture a classic "flip-flop" graphic, where a two-dimensional video image of Bush flapping his jaws is flipped like a flapjack with every date-marked change in the WH party line on the hunt for bin Laden.

--"Wanted: Dead or Alive" ("September 17 2001" at the bottom of the screen)--from http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010917-3.html ;

--"I truly am not that concerned about him" ("March 13 2003" at the bottom of the screen)--from http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/03/20020313-8.html ;

--Eleven mentions of bin Laden in a 46-minute speech ("September 7 2006" at the bottom of the screen)--from http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/09/20060907-2.html

Imagine having a lawyer talk about how the apparent torture of the best candidates for 9/11 prosecution, in secret prisons overseas, would be grounds for excluding evidence from their confessions and dismissal of charges against them, which IMO would be the most significant Bush screwup among dozens of significant Bush screw-ups. Finally, imagine a 9/11 victim family member delivering a punchline about the need for change in Washington to bring the 9/11 terrorists to justice.

With multiple TV showings of "Press for Truth" during the next two months, at network expense by popular demand, wouldn't that be a winner?

1. If someone tracks down the audio and edits it for just the portions
that are needed I can create the Flash movie.

at the whitehouse.gov links in the Original Post.

Last week's Bush speech just has a Video link on the WH page, though audio links may be found at cnn, msnbc, washingronpost, or elsewhere.

3. Like I said someone needs to ...
right click and choose Save Target As and then listen to the clips until they isolate the relevant portions and use audio editing software to cut out the unrelated audio and then PM me to let me know so you can email me the files. I need edited audio to bring into Flash.

4. Many thanks for the offer! I was responding to the
"track down" part of your post. I've never edited audio myself. What software can do that?

5. Here is a review of audio software...

Collecting audio can be time consuming because you will have to listen to a very long speech just to get the parts you want. I guess you could perhaps use the transcript to fast forward without passing the part you want. Flash is also very time consuming, luckliy I already have lots of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld stills I can use.

8. Most DUers will not step away from the computer long enough to
post flyers. I know I have been begging DUers to post flyers since '04.
