Please contact your local CBS station to thank them
for running "9/11," the real documentary, in its uncensored entirety — even if they ran it after prime time.

If they chickened out, contact them about that, too, the weenies.

1. Great idea, OR.
God knows I signed tons of petitions and sent a lot of emails regarding the crap ABC is showing; it's always a good idea to hand out kudos when they are deserved.

3. On the West Coast, we got the full version!

No editing for " language" here, my friend.

Good for CBS!

4. We did too, on the SF and Monterey affiliates
But each station can decide whether to air something in its network time slot or later, or not at all. It's not a regional thing.

5. What do you mean by "full" version?
What was missing from some?

6. I didn't say 'full version'
I said "uncensored entirety," as opposed to not running it at all.

7. My husband and I watched the CBS...
...9/11 program.

We initially sat down to watch "Path to 9/11", but we were captivated
and so emotionally taken in by the CBS show. We started flipping between
ABC and CBS.

There was absolutely NO doubt that CBS's amazing documentary--based on
fact and produced with a tremendous amount of courage and integrity--took
viewers away from ABC.

As my husband said, "People are going flipping back and forth--just as they
do every night. If someone watched ABC for a bit, then flipped to CBS--ABC
lost those viewers to CBS. No contest."

It is so true, what my husband said. In their desperate attempt to make
their "mocudramentary" look like a documentary, they bounced the camera
around so much and constantly jerked in and out of scenes. It didn't feel
authentic. I literally had a headache (and probably whiplash) five minutes
into the program. It really was awful.

Kudos to CBS for a quality program, and also for another effect---taking viewers
away from the trash on ABC.
