3. Um, that's one reason for Internet activism

Sure such campaigns may seem obsessive while they're happening.

But it's necessary to get all fired up about specific things, if we are ever to gain any collective influence and power to counteract the Media Spin and the GOP/Right-Wing/Corporate Cabal.

Even thoiugh a TV movie is not as important as some otehr issues, it's important to unify against ourrages of all kinds.

It's similar to what has happened with such things as important Congressional votes, and efforts to combat the nomination of Alito and the Dubai Ports deal.

Would you rather than the response to Pto9-11 have been limnited to a few cranky isolated posts, so that the travesty would be broadcast unchallenged?

Personally, I'd rather see us err on the side of passion and action.

8. Thirded.
Certain issues get a whole lot of play here at DU.

The "Scholastic Aspect" of the current travesty was sure to
fire up people more than some others.

5. so whats important to you?
I would think a propaganda piece bolstering the GOPs strongest issue (that Democrats are weak on Terror) is pretty important to debunk.

But if you think the Dems should continue to be labeled as weak on terror, then thats your opinion.

6. responding and shooting down the Swiftboat vets would be a diversion to yo
u?

This is the same thing. You have to hit propaganda hard in the mouth. Hopefully before it even is shown.
