Invitation to the DUngeon - aka: The 9-11 Forum

I admit it, I am one of those loony CTers who hangs out down in the dungeon. Except, I'm really not that loony and neither are most serious 9-11 researchers. Aside from the resident disrupters, DU has one of the best and most active 9-11 forums on the Internet.

After reading the threads on DU today it is apparent that most people, even the most dedicated news junkies, don't know a lot about the events of 9-11. With the passage of time and the M$M orgy, a lot of people are starting to ask a lot of questions. If you want to learn more about what really happend, believe it or not DU's 9-11 forum is a great place to start. Just browse back through the old threads and you will find a wealth of information. Yes, you do have to sift through a far bit of nonsense and distractions, but it's no better or worse then the usual assortment of threads in GD. Some are better then others.

So please, come on down, the weather is fine. It's really not all that scary down there and we rarely ever bite.

Even at 3 am someone's got the duty to tell those who question the Official Conspiracy Theory that we are all crazy, that we know nothing, that our efforts are for naught, that our sources are suspect, unqualified or lying.

Why anyone needs to spend so much time defending the Official Conspiracy Theory is very intriguing. And why they rarely, if ever, post anywhere else at DU is also a curious thing.

After all, how many of you are up in the wee hours of the morning going to Creationist websites to support the theory of evolution?

2. The disrupters

are everywhere, they're kind of like a cancer that you learn to live with.

They are also getting slicker. They don't come on DU and stink the place up right off the bat any more. They've learned that hurling personal insults will get themselves banned in no time, but as long as they don't 'insult' anyone they can pretty much post as much BushCo spin as they can.

I keep the 9/11 forum as my home page so that I can try and keep up with the latest info.

As for the trolls/disrupters there...Put em on ignore! Same goes for the crappy threads they post in GD. Ignore em and they will slink off like the slugs they are! :puke:

If one person could give me an unarguable reason not to have a new, independent investigation. Whether mihop, lihop, or gross incompetence, any of the three are just cause, and the only people I can think of who would oppose this would be the ignorant, and those who fear, or would not like the outcome of such an investigation. The complacent portion won't care one way or the other, as long as events do not penetrate the bubble they have confined their existence to. Besides, what can it hurt? Check it out. Thanks.

I most likely would not hesitate to tell some of the people over there that I disagree in not-so-subtle terms. So, just to be safe, I'll stay over here, and resist all temptation.

Some of the conspiracy theories out there are pretty absurd (passenger jets firing missles, Bush Administration officials wiring buildings with explosives, victims that are still alive and kept in seclusion, etc.) and very embarassing.

Let's take a look at the explosives issue, for example. I mean, let's get real here. It makes no sense because the people in the Bush Administration are too stupid and incompetent to pull something like that off. I don't give them anything close to that much credit.

The main thing they're guilty of is pure incompetence in not preventing the attacks.

Sure, some people can get silly, but most of the posters down there take this subject very seriously and we only post theories and statements that we can back up with credible mainstream sources.

Have you ever read the NIST reports or the FEMA reports? I have. I base my work on the evidence available.

The events of 9/11 are something I take seriously, and when I read about something like missles firing at buildings, wiring the buildings with explosives and other sci-fi nonsense, I feel it's ridiculing the memory of the people that gave their lives that day.

Not to say that I agree with the official version. I think Bushco should be held accountable for pure incompetence.

23. Maybe we all can't understand why so many like you are wearing blinders

and living in TOTAL DENIAL of the evil Bush & Co have wrought. Anyone who paid attention during Katrina could see the evil of their intentions toward the citizens of this country. The evil bastards in charge went shoe shopping, played and ate cake while people drowned! That in and of itself makes a strong case for 9/11 & LIHOP. For you and others like you to close the door on LIHOP/MIHOP so completely just strikes me as being completely foolish and that's putting it politely.

My advice is to take heed, because the question is: WHO IS NEXT?

Let's see, they are spying on all of us, they have secret prisons/camps and Cheney just said that anyone who is against the illegal Iraq war supports the evil terrorists if not terrorists themselves. Connect the dots because no doubt the next targets are people like us who they will label as terrorists just for speaking up and against their evil criminal deeds here on DU.
