my cousin and her husband stopped by earlier tonight. We were discussing 911 and I mentioned the CBS program with the fireman I watched last night. The husband said he watched the ABC program at which I said the fictional account of what happened. He started in on how Clinton was responsible.......I then pounced on him with the facts that the GOP Congress is highly responsible since the refused to pass Clinton terrorist bill in 1996. That they continued to drag their feet over measures which would have made things safer at that time. How big mouth Orin Hatch gave away the secret we were tapping into bin Ladens cell phone at a public hearing, how Trent Lott kept dragging his feet on the terrorist measures claiming they were unnecessary. I then ran down how Clinton was able to knock off some terrorists, those from the earlier Tower bombings, millennium bombing plot, etc...........He says that was luck, to which I reply it was good police work. I asked him how come Clinton's transition team spent so much time on terrorist issues with Rice and her people if it wasn't important. He kept spouting out that Clinton was distracted with Monica.......I forgot my cousin was there and said yeah maybe for the moment but I bet it made him feel good to get a good BJ. The GOP Congress was more distracted in trying to get him over a BJ. He kept it up and then I asked just what has your President done that makes you feel safer....he couldn't answer. What has Bush really done? Nothing silence mumbling...Says Cheney is the fall guy. He bring up Clinton not getting a secrecy clearance and I asked what the hell does that have to do with 911....I got the draft dodger crap and I said so Bush hiding out in Georgia was good. I finally end up asking him what the GOP Congress was running on? Before he could answer I know its Clinton's dick and a blue stained dress....pretty sad I said since we went to an unjust war in Iraq, still haven't caught Osama, but sex acts over 10 yrs old are still important. Bush lies and people die, but thats not important. I saw my cousin give me a smile because she knew I beat him down. Damn freeper relative.
