How do you write, Thank you, when the words don't seem to be enough. When I tell my wife or my children, "I love you", those three words seem to suffice. I know they see the Love in my eyes and my actions everyday so saying "I love you" is merely saying "Amen" after a beautiful prayer. But you can't see the gratitude in my eyes or hear it in my simple thank you. So offering this heartfelt "thank you" will have to suffice...

Jesus said, "Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you." If the Lord truly metes out gifts for doing his work, I will ask him to give you the gift of his blessing and protection. I don't know if you believe in him or not, but I believe all good things flow from his grace. So thank you for this good thing and thank you for having the courage to believe in America.

6. How Odd That ONLY One Man Has Said What Far Too Many

have not had the courage to say!! His words will never die for me, but I FEAR now for him. I DO NOT and HAVE had trust in these corrupt evils and vile men for so long, and I FEAR their rath. What they have just heard is sure to cause some fierce reaction.

And perhaps the reaction will NEVER lead to the real culprits, nor will they ever be brought to justice, but I FEAR in my heart for Keith Olbermann. I do not know where he has found the courage to do his face offs with these powerful ugly people, but I do admire him.

I have no knowledge that Keith's health is good or bad, there are rumors though. Many times he has been gone from his show this past year, it may mean nothing or it may mean more than WE know.

Thank you Keith, I hope with all my heart that you will be safe. I simply can not put into words what you just said meant to me and so many others. I'm posting this here, but I will be writing to you directly. I for one will not watch this "Alien" who calls himself Commander In Chief, I stopped a long time ago. I have NO respect for him or those around him, but if I could have one wish on this day alone, it would be that the World is listening to you Mr. Olbermann, and if not the world than at least America.

very late the night before. It was hard to connect to all the threads on DU because of the over load. Good to hear that his health is good, but all the more reason to worry to some extent. Of course one could look at it another way... if anything were to happen to him there should be no doubt about who, what, when or where!

Proving it would be all the more difficult even when it would be sooooooo obvious.

I was choking down tears as I listened to your comments on today's
anniversary of 9/11. It took so much guts to say what you said tonite.
You have no idea how much it means to me to hear someone put
so eloquently what a greater majority of Americans are feeling today.

You may be the sole voice of unadulterated truth today. Thanks for
telling it like it is, without mincing words. No holds barred. It's
about time someone told it like it is, without trying to "soften" it.

19. A lovely heartfelt letter. I sent one too from our household.

It reads as follows:

Last night we listened to your commentary and then turned off the television because we had heard the only words that needed to have been spoken yesterday. Yesterday was a day largely for the political establishment to utter hollow words and to exploit a nation's grief and emotions. We turned off the television after listening to you because we did not need to tune in one more time to Mr. Bush to listen to his same old speech told with the stock phrases and sound bites so carefully formulated from focus groups . We know the lies and feints by heart now. We turned the set off because we know, as nation we know, that the truth is much harder than public relations doublespeak. The truth is written daily in the headlines that tell of the needless death and destruction half a world away and of the beating of war drums and .fomenting of hatred here at home. We reject both and those erstwhile "leaders" that would whip to frenzy both. Thank you for giving voice to those truths which so many in your industry have shunned or lack the courage to utter. Out here in the hinterlands, we speak these things to one another but are told that "the majority" of us beat the war drums and believe the lies. In our little village, I know of hardly anyone who supports this war or this administration. In fact, people are saying that the Republican Party will be utterly destroyed by this wrongheaded policy. And we watch you here. We hear the truth you speak and we nod in agreement and speak it to one another.
