General Electric corporation owns MSNBC and is a massive war contractor/profiteer.. and like the rest of the few huge corporations that own the media in America.. they will not take kindly to an employee of a media subsidiary publicly questioning Dear Leader.

This is almost like an Edward R Murrow moment of our times.. lets hope KO doesnt get fired for it.

1. I already sent emails to Abrams, MSNBC, Countdown, and letters to

the network. All of course were very complimentary, but congradulatory too! I think the network, the producers, Abrams as his boss, and of course Keith.

I must admit, I too am worriedthat Keith is going to get in trouble for what he said. I can only HOPE I'm wrong!

2. If you read the latest Salon article on him, he doesn't seem endangered

He's getting a lot of support from MSNBC right now. They wish he'd do more of this, but he doesn't want to overdo it and water down its effectiveness when he does.

Olbermann's 9-11 commentary - echoes of Edward R. Murrow

I am old enough to remember the last time an ideologically crazed group of self serving pseudo-patriots intimidated our citizens with charges of being unpatriotic and conducted a witch hunt that threatened the free speech of all of us. I still remember the courageous voice of Edward R. Murrow challenging the ideologues and restoring sanity to the public discourse. Keith Olbermann has demonstrated that same type of courage in his most recent commentary on 9-11. His moral outrage against the politicizing of 9-11 and the memories of the victims he personally knew rings true, unlike the tired appeals to 9-11 of the current administration.
In this current era of media cowardice, Olbermann stands as the voice of truth and reason. I wholeheartedly applaud his efforts and the courage of his company and sponsors in their unwavering support!
Edward R. Murrow must be beaming with pride. I know that I am.
