attack. :eyes: Are all chimp lovers special ed? You'd think after the stir we caused over the letter they printed blaming Clinton for not doing enough after Hurricane Andrew hit, they would have learned their lesson on fact-checking the shit they print. I don't know whether this letter appeared in the print edition, or whether they just posted it online.
Soft-on-terror Clinton
Mr. Bill Clinton is roaming around the country drumming up support for candidates this summer, hypocritically talking about President Bush's wrong-headed war on terror. I suppose he must think it’s a good thing that he did next to nothing in response to the bombing of the USS Stark, the truck bombing of the Twin Towers, the dragging of U.S. soldiers behind trucks in Somalia, etc., other than fire a few missiles and turn tail and run. Think how bad the problem would be now? His brilliant support of weakening surveillance powers of the FBI and CIA during his administration certainly also helped minimize the threat?
The funny thing is that there are people who must believe that. Perhaps they believe Prime Minister Chamberlain was right to appease Hitler as well? For eight years of his administration we showed terrorists and rogue governments that America was soft of terrorism. Is it any wonder that they assumed they could attack us at home and abroad with impunity? How dare he espouse rapprochement, negotiations with them or a retraction of our hunt-them-down strategy?
Why on earth do Americans donate money to the candidates he supports?
