1. I don't know if I could be more energized to combat the evil
which is today's republican party and its supporters but the concept of a TV network playing politics with the truth this close to a national election provided the right amount of lagniappe.

2. Have To Give It a Little Time, See If It Has Legs
There are so many serious problems with our government, it's hard to know when or if the tipping point has been passed, and until we are definitely on the road to massive change, I reserve my judgment.

4. What did it do to you?
I know for me, it was the tipping point toward renewed activism, after I had become somewhat lethargic.

3. Yes. Most definitely....
But, I can only speak for myself.

That having been said, if I get MUCH MORE ENRAGED, my head will explode. LOL!

6. Yes. Check out this DUer's "photoshopped" Disney protest picture...
...that was published on Sacramento radio personality Christine Craft's web page (okay, it's my work and I'm bragging a little bit  ):

7. I think it is going to cause a backfire on them
When you alter history with enough people still living involved with it you tend to have a very bad kind of problem with backlash.

9. I think it SHOULD have, but not sure it did
If anything, though, this should remove ALL doubt that the media presents a level playing field. The Dems need to know what they're dealing with and respond accordingly.
They should not go onto these programs ill-prepared, they should not send their weakest representatives, and they should not hesitate to call the "journalists" on their crap.
If more people got into Tim Russert's face, maybe he wouldn't be so quick to denigrate Dems -- at least he would know someone would be coming right back at him and calling him on his bias and lack of professionalism -- PUBLICLY -- on HIS OWN program.

And on top of that, they should unify on the issue of electronic voting and make some noise about it.

Is there any doubt, in anyone's mind, that this isn't war with this people?

What is it going to take?

10. I voted don't know

I think most opponents of Bush and neoconservatism were determined to fight any way and couldn't be much more determined. The Democratic Party is all over the place on everything, but things have gotten so bad (or maybe just so obvious) that the normally pathetic DLC strategy of proclaiming the Democrats to be better because they're not Bush will be good enough.

We really didn't need an amateur propagandist like Cyrus Nowrasteh and a sycophantic television network like ABC to produce a pack of lies on behalf of Mr. Bush and his merry band of thugs to get us energized. Bush and friends have shown since before the September 11 attacks that they don't need help coming up with a pack of lies. From what I've read, this thing was so obvious in its inaccuracies and so poorly done in every other respect that far fewer people than expected watched it and most of those were either Bush's true believers or the morbidly curious watching with at least a grain of salt.

The Path to 911 will be forgotten before the Friday news dump.

11. Democratic activists didn't need PT9/11 to galvanize their resolve.
But a media that may finally be waking up seems to have been energized by the issue. And, you may be right that the specific issue is forgotten before Friday's news dump but I hope that the momentum we've gained remains.
