5. Compare the suit Maliki has on
to the two guys on Ahmadinejad's side of the pic. Maliki is wearing a very well tailored no doubt very expensive suit most likely from Europe (Italy is my guess.) The Iranians are dressed like shlubs, all of them. While this may seem irrelevant it is a symptom of why the Iranians are eating our lunch and laughing at us on several fronts right now. They are the real deal. Our guys are making plans for extended European vacations.

2. Bush, can you get anything right?
Actually, we here in the U.S. that have been led down this ridiculous path of attacking small, oil rich or pipeline rich (opium rich) countries are lucky that worse things haven't happened. Not real sure what could be worse after seeing those two making Nice. But just when you think it won't or hope it won't get worse, it does. Our troops are being trounced and bush makes no mention of it.

I must remind myself once in awhile that the media does get some important news out and this is one of them, also the chaos in Afghanistan and Iraq. Again, bush never mentioned this situation last night. Could it be tho, that this news was kept off air due to bush's showtime this past week? This seems most likely. Duh
