My letter on Lieberman published

In forming his “Connecticut for Lieberman” party in a desperate attempt to hold on to power, Joe Lieberman is thumbing his nose at the primary process that he willingly entered. Why force the state to spend millions of dollars on the primary if he did not intend to abide by the results? If he really had the best interests of the state at heart, as he claims, then he should have dropped out of the race for the Democratic nomination and formed his party months earlier. But no, Joe Lieberman wanted to have his cake and eat it, too. With his elementary school level selfishness, perhaps he should have named his party “Lieberman for Lieberman.” I hope we can sue Sen. Lieberman for all the pain and suffering we endured with his “dirty tricks” advertising this past summer while he pursued the sham of trying to win the Democratic nomination.
