Speaking TRUTH to power. Keith put his job and life on the line for us.

Talk about courage. What greater love for his country can a man have
than to endanger his career, livlihood and possibly his life to
stand up and speak truth to power... and to do it so eloquently,
succinctly, and boldly.

I am so damn proud of Keith, I am literally choked up with tears.

3. It was some of the very best journalism I have ever seen.
Commentary, it's true, but he certainly has the right to make those comments.

I'm sure he realizes that, in the current national climate, what he said on the air last night very well may have put his life in danger.

I agree with you 100%.

8. Not to mention his economic livelihood, that was one of the finest
....TV commentaries I've seen since the days of Eric Sevaried on CBS news

<snip>
Feb. 12, 2004: Eric Sevareid
The press has a long tradition of thoughtful commentators and analysts, reaching back to Henry Adams and Benjamin Franklin. But the tradition hasn't exactly thrived in television, especially in recent years as attention spans have shrunk and the shouting has increased. But this wasn't always the case. During the 1960s and 1970s -- a time of considerable shouting in society -- Eric Sevareid offered elegant nightly commentaries on CBS Evening News that were among the most admired in journalism. Cronkite, Sevareid's longtime colleague, reflects on Sevareid's work, and a time when television took time to think.

9. Think of all the elected Democrats that should have said it years earlier.
I guess it's still nice to see a big name get in Bush's face.
