2. That douchbag was on "Faux News" this afternoon...
...I saw him, but did not listen in. There is a bank of TV's at my local gym and the elliptical machines happen to be situated in front of the TV that has "Faux News". I tried to change the channel, but they have the channel locked in!! I usually change the one next to it to CNN just to piss people off. Thank God for my iPod!!

3. RNC
He and his partisan attacks and Reba McIntyre's attack on the Dixie Chicks at the CW music awards is why after 60 years I gave up that music. When I was in high school too many years ago to mention, we had a survey. I and one other were the only ones who admitted they liked country western music. But I would never listen to it again after their en-mass approval of the weasel bush.

13. L.A. Country Radio Is Bye Bye...
I smiled a couple of weeks ago upon finding out the only remaining country music station in Los Angeles had changed formats, and was now only broadcasting via satellite.

15. Look at their fan base. . .Freepers, Racists, Bigots, idiots, rednecks,
Trailer Trash and Xenophobes.

I lost it with Country Music when "Have You Forgotten" by Daryl Worley became popular and was pushed as the next big country music hit.

:puke:

18. You can still listen to Willie and Johnny, though.
Both are/were for the "working man" and Willie's an advocate for farmers and hemp.

19. I would include Merle Haggard in that group...

He's got a great song out now called 'Rebuild America First'. It's anti-war and pro-America. Excellent song!

21. He's always been a bit of a renegade...
He did a few songs way back that were a 'love it or leave it' type of rhetoric during the Vietnam war.

What's interesting here is that he recognizes how badly things have gone and mentions not only the Iraq war, but also the patriot act.

I've always been a huge fan of Merle's.

4. In a match of wits, Toby will come unarmed.

Really, this will be like pulling wings off of flys... simply not challenging.

8. Maybe he thinks its really a Conservative Talk Show a la Delay?
Edited on Tue Sep-12-06 05:33 PM by nam78_two
He seems about thick enough to not get it....

Remeber when Delay's dimwits thought that Colbert was "supportive" over something and ripped those durn liberals a new one?

i thought of The Simpsons episode where they had a country singer at the fair who was modeled after

toby keith singing "if you don't buy my record, al-quaeda wins."

Edited on Tue Sep-12-06 06:15 PM by durrrty libby
I heard him the other day. Now hold onto your hats....he said he is a "lifelong dem"

:bounce:  :freak:

He said he was not in favor of the Iraq war.

Repukes call him all the time to make appearances and are stunned to learn he is a dem

16. CBS Sunday Morning show, had some interesting bits to it. The part with...
Toby Keith surprised me a bit, it felt sort of out of context to me even though I remember the song he wrote/sang right after 9-11.

17. That's what he says, all right. Remember, often an OK Dem is like
a Repub in the rest of the country.

I think he's an embarrassment to the party, with that horrible jingoistic hateful song all the freeper pukes love so much. I can't stand him.

crap about Toby Keith saying he was a "Dem" I set him straight. Someone should "put a boot" in Toby's a$$. Oh and his music sucks, too!
