Some Ind. RI voters want to vote Dem in the down ticket and Pub in the |
|
Senate line, and they CAN'T DO THAT! Some reporter was just talking about it on Hardball.
I guess they are guessing this will be bad for Chaffe.

1. You have to make up your mind which party you are going |
|
to stick to...
It is not a general election...
Why would anyone with a brain think they could do that....

2. The only thing I can imagin is that the Ind's thought that just |
|
because they registered unafiliated, they could pick and choose!
I know how it's supposed to be. It's that way here in Ga too!
I just found that reporter's comment quite funny! Some voters just don't think, I guess.

3. I don't know what R.I.'s law is |
|
but I don't think such practices are legal in any state primary. Even in open primary states you can only vote in one party primary per election, and you can't pick or choose parties for each office. That would be a mess, and undermine political parties too.
