I Was Wondering, Do You Think freepers Spend More Time On DU & Other
Dem boards, or on their own? Please explain.

As for me, I don't know - probably more in their dark little world. They're programmed & hopeless. (almost) feel sorr . . . . whoops, guess not.

1. Don't know, but one thing I do know is that I spend no time on
...freeper blogs what-so-ever, unless I'm tricked into going to one by a post link

2. Do you mean JUST Freepers or Republicans? I think Republicans as a whole
go to their own websites - the same as we do.

Again, even though Freepers come here a LOT, I'm sure that
- overall - they stay in their own little world.

4. I think they spend more time playing Nintendo in their underwear

than they do interacting with actual people in any way.

And, I never go to those places. *shudder*

13. Hey, I play Nintendo in my underwear
But I don't go to that Freeper place. I always feel like I need a shower after I go there.

5. Apparently they don't
spend enough time on other boards otherwise *maybe* they wouldn't so ignorant. :silly:

7. I don't understand why Freepers are stupid and ignorant.
I know about the studies that show the more educated you are, the more liberal you seem to be.

But, they have the whole internets at their disposal just as we do. All that information and they can't learn to spell "serious"?

That's just weird. Maybe that UGLY website is rotting their brains.

10. I've met a few that seem to reject information and knowledge...
...on any level. They seem to think that if it doesn't come from their sources (faux, limbaugh, their churches, etc.) it's a lie and an obvious product of the "librul media."

It's really bad when you are dealing with the uber religious. Many Christian sects (like the born again faction) tell their members to pull away from everything that isn't based in "god." This includes secular television (ie the news), music, film, etc. If it doesn't have the kind of image they think it should have, isn't HOLY somehow then they reject it. I've known people like this that will ONLY listen to Christian radio, watch the Christian cable channels, only see films reviewed and approved by Christians and play Christian music cd's/tapes in their cars. People like this live in a holier than thou bubble of their own creation. They think the internet is evil.

17. Isn't that brainwashing? I mean, what about dictionaries
and encyclopedias and, well, LIBRARIES?

I never realized how lucky I was not to be born into one of those families! :wow:

Smart people that have the ability to think for themselves or the desire to, see that and leave. The others...Well. :eyes:

8. They are the bravest of the mighty freepers!
Venturing onto dangerous liberal message boards to fight the culture war !!

Too bad they are too cowardly to join the Army and fight in a real war.

There is a recruiting crisis right now.

Why do the freepers hate America? Why doesn't every one of them go down and join up??

9. All I know is this...
I only know the name of their board, because some DU'ers have made me aware of it.

I've visited some boards that have nothing to do with politics. Conservative members on those boards seem to always know the names and addys of OUR (left-leaning, liberal, progressive, activism) boards. Wonder why that is...? ;)

12. Is it me or does it seem like the Freepers have really toned down
their hateful spews lately. Maybe they are really getting worried. I'm hoping that's a good sign.

14. There is one site,
Edited on Tue Sep-12-06 09:00 PM by Turbineguy
a conservative site with a remarkably similar name to DemocraticUnderground.com where it looks like 95% of postings are devoted to what us DUmmies are saying here.

It is completely forbidden to mention the site's name here. It's worse than saying "MacBeth!"

On Edit: In a way I agree with that philosophy. It seems strange to devote space and bandwidth to see what the opposite guys are doing. After all, it's a safe assumption that they would find what goes on here dissagreeable.

15. Dem boards
They define themselves based on what they are not. Their hatred of "bleeding-heart liberals" installed Bush & Co. into power. Maybe they did elect a corporate corrupt war-mongering crony into office, but at least they ain't a liberal!

18. We need to start calling them the "Reactive Right"
because they have nothing but their hatreds to define them.
