VA Study is being called by us veterans a cover up
Edited on Tue Sep-12-06 08:20 PM by Monkeyman
Many in our veterans community are calling the new VA study on Gulf War Syndrome another Agent Orange cover-up
Did you expect something different from these studies funded by a VA contolled by Replugs heres some links

The Institute of Medicine report---- http:www.iom.edu/CMS/3793/2497/36955.aspx

Commentary on vaccines here---- http://www.vawatchdog.org/old%20newsflashes%20APR%2006/newsflash04-206-8.htm

Now the British courts have recognized the term Gulf War Syndrome, BUT NOT THEIT MILITARY!

AP STORY HERE ... http://www.newsone.ca/piercelandherald/ViewArticle.aspx?id=6085&source=2

Look you guys know I try to fight for vets from Iraq. I have had three with bleeding gums and lose of hair. One vets new baby is born with three fingers and has cancer. Believe me this study is so Bush does not have to pay claims TAX CUTS are more important then human life. TWO LINKS DON;T WORK HERE

1. I haven't got a bone in this fight.
So I'm curious on what peer-reviewed science has to say on the subject.

Your first two links aren't working.

2. I find it astonishing that, when I check into a hotel in California...
...I see signs everywhere warning me that there are toxic chemicals and carcinogens present on the site (presumably the lysol and Febreze used by the housekeepers), yet we're supposed to believe that the stuff used by our military and the forces of our 'enemies' are made of fresh air and fairy dust? It shouldn't come as a surprise that some war veterans are coming down with a wide range of symptoms. What is surprising is that all of the vets aren't. Or maybe it's just a matter of time until they do.

The government needs to fess up and stop trying to spin this. Wars are dangerous and those lucky ones who survive often discover that they didn't; their deaths merely took a bit longer.
