while I was printing them off, we started yaking about bush not finding bin-laden 5 years later...

co-worker snorted and said "you'd think the f***ing idiot would realize that Bin-Laden is not "UP-HIS-ASS-ISTAN"

1. But seriously, why is OBL missing and why issuing audio-only statements?

Why did OBL stop issuing video tapes and go audio only? Afraid he'll give himself away? (Put up a sheet behind him and that's not a concern.) Horribly scarred and either vain or fearful that his followers will perceive him as weak? (Not likely, IMHO.) No access to a handicam? (Ha!) Maybe he's dead and other factions are using his name in their own recordings? Dead and the US is using his name? Captured, and the US is going to have a "dramatic success" when the GOP needs it badly? (Hmm, but they'd have to trust lots of people to keep quiet -- those who guard him, feed him, transport him, murder him, and plant him in the camp that they daringly storm right before election day.) Got any better ideas of why he uses audio only?
