Repost: Matt Lauer Surprised Me By Being a Journalist

Keith is running the second part of the interview between Lauer and Bush, and this time, in a sit-down session outdoors. Bush is as mean, arrogant, rude, smirky, ignorant, and narcissistic as ever. Lauer can barely conceal his disgust at the immature, bullying behavior of Bush. He interrupts Lauer, he condescends, he snaps, and he sneers.

Keith showed a good long segment of the interview for a reason - it keeps the momentum Keith and all of us have been pushing along since the pre-9/11 media frenzy started building up a week ago. A momentum which pushes the truth forward and wipes away the spin - all the while exposing Bush for the empty-headed lying sack of **** that he is.

You know... I couldn't help but think that Lauer wanted to punch him in the face. He sure looked like he wanted to, and I commend his self-control.
