A great strategy to drive home in my opinion is to show the connection of the big money to the republicans. And why they are spending such an enormous amount right before the election.

If we can use a general ad that triggers an immediate thought of anyone seeing a negative republican ad, that the motive of that ad should be more important than what the ad says, it kills the message of every republican ad. And actually becomes progressively worse, the more ads they run. It is political jiu jitsu and would be a master stroke in my opinion.

Our ad could be run in every state and by using this message, enhance every Democrat running without having to spend a fraction of the money to promote each Democrat in individual ads. Our bank account will stretch for miles. The more money the republicans spent to slander Democrats, the more it would point out just what what our ad has said. It we could accomplish this with the voters who haven't made up their minds to vote Democrat yet, this will kill the republicans.

MY AD SUGGESTION.... probably a sixty second spot.

Why are you seeing republicans spending an unprecedented 45 million dollars worth of tv advertising to say untrue things about Democrats just prior to this election?

Because they have to. They know they are about to lose control of congress.

Do you know where all those millions came from?

From the big corporations; oil companies, drug companies, defense contractors who benefit from the war.

They don't want Democrats running congress, because we will pass legislation that benefits the middle class and the poor. Not the Haliburtons and the Exxons.

Think about it, if you were making billions of dollars in profits, would you want it to stop?

Next time you see a negative tv ad about a Democrat, think about that. Follow the money.

Send a message to the republicans November 7th. Tell them we want Democrats. Your money don't buy my vote anymore.

Very, very good.

I have a similar jiu jitsu idea, not for commercial broadcast but for everyday conversation.

Democrats should be bringing up in conversation the notion that 'Big Oil and the Saudis are lowering the price of oil just in time to support Republicans in the November elections. Wait for gas prices next spring if Republicans hold Congress.'

Kind of a pre-emption that takes every gas-price decrease and puts it in people's minds why gas costs so much to begin with.

5. Appreciate all that have commented.
I have many years in advertising, with record accomplishments for my employers.

The concept is to do what a bowling ball does. Even though it's only one ball, when you hit the pins in the right place, all the pins go down. You don't have to hit each individual pin with the ball.

An ad like this would be a blanket strike on every republican, makes the lies in every ad they run that much more likely to be questioned, and ties the republicans to favors for the rich.

Anyone who we get to finally make that connection, we have hit it out of the park.

6. Great idea
It would keep candidates from getting bogged down defending individual attacks.
