42. Watch Bush cringe every time LR starts talking
I guess I was laughing so hard the first time I saw this I missed this subtlety: whoever photoshopped B*sh has him jumping or cringing slightly whenever LR speaks. This is a gem!

38. God Bless Little Richard, one of the Genuine Kings of Rock n Roll
Not to speak ill of the dead, but to give Little Richard the credit he deserves he could rock the swivel off Elvis any day of the week and twice on Saturday night.

44. It's true!
I am a huge fan of Little Richard. I discovered long ago that he rocks with an intensity that Elvis Presley never, ever managed to attain. Not in his whole career. Not that I am trying to tear Elvis down, but I think Little Richard deserves an awful lot more credit than he is given. I believe he is one of the most vivid and enthralling musical personalities of the past 50 years.

Have you heard the Pat Boone rendition of "Tutti Frutti"? I didn't know it was possible for someone to be so shriekingly white.

Some years ago, there was a one-hit wonder called Kathy somebody, who did a song called "I Touch Myself". She appeared on one of those network television MTV ripoff shows that sprang up in the late 80s/early 90s, I can't remember when exactly. Little Richard was the guest host. Kathy did her song and came back to meet Richard, who politely said he was a huge fan of her music, and she smiled and said "Thank you, Richard", but I don't think she had any idea that she was shaking hands with one of the founding fathers of Rock n Roll. I felt embarrassed for her, and that moment was burned into my memory.

I'm rambling, so let this count as a kick for this thread, since everyone should see that video! Little Richard, I love you.

Some years ago, there was a one-hit wonder called Kathy somebody, who did a song called "I Touch Myself".

Actually, 'I Touch Myself' was done by a band from Australia called DiVinyls - and they were a pretty rockin' band. Another song they did was called 'All The Boys In Town,' about the town tramp. It took a pretty ballsy girl to sing that song, and Christina Amphlett handled it great.

This is Christina, live on stage with DiVinyls:

I always thought of her as a cross between Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders) and Angus Young (AC/DC).

You may be thinking of Kathy Dennis (from UK), who did a song called 'Touch Me All Night Long.' Slim redhead, as I remember it. No great shakes, either.

This is Pop Tart Kathy Dennis:

46. Kathy Dennis is definitely it!!!
I can't remember anything about the song other than this line: "when i think about you, I touch myself", so that must be why my memory played me false on the title. Thanks, AmericanStranger!

Poor Kathy! I wonder where she is now?
