Seriously, his speech-writers (aka: maytag repairmen) have basically used the same speech for 5 years, with a few minor changes here and there (you know, to add in whatever AQ#2 we've caught that week, or to change their propaganda slogan from "stay the course" to "adapt to win"). You'd think with all that free time they could think these things through a little better...

At any rate, he's preaching to his base anyway. Doesn't matter what the other 70% think of it.
