Photos of children incinerated on ... Flight 175 and ... Flight 77
Edited on Thu Sep-14-06 10:35 AM by mahatmakanejeeves

There's always a big stack of the Washington Times dumped by the distributor for free at the local library. It makes me wonder if the WT has any paid circulation at all. Monday's Michelle Malkin column contained this claim:

War of Words
By Michelle Malkin
Washington Times | September 12, 2006

What have you learned since the September 11 attacks five years ago? The mass murder nearly 3,000 innocent people on American soil forced open my eyes to the Islamic holy war against the West, freedom and modernity. The battle has raged not for years or decades, but for centuries -- well before the Crusades.

The sight of workers plunging from the Twin Towers -- head first, feet first, solo, hand-in-hand -- roused me from slumber. Photos of children incinerated on United Airlines Flight 175 and American Airlines Flight 77 compelled me to start paying attention to the beliefs, goals, language and lies of those who would gladly kill my children the same way. The United Airlines Flight 93 hijackers' final exclamation as they drove the plane into the ground is a Muslim warrior leitmotif I will never again ignore: "Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar."

I hope she doesn't mean that she has seen photos of incinerated children. Further, I can't imagine that any such photographs exist. She must mean photographs taken of children who, some time later, were on those planes. I hope this is why she wrote "children incinerated" instead of "incinerated children."

1. What is her point?
That the terrorists of 9/11 are bad people? Splendid. We agree.

2. Is she sure that she's not talking about Bush?
"...start paying attention to the beliefs, goals, language and lies of those who would gladly kill my children the same way."

Between Iraq and the troops he's gladly killed in his illegal war, her comment fits Dubya perfectly.

5. What is she talking about?
I have never heard of any photos of children incinerated on the planes? That would be quite some evidence.

I think you're right about what she means, mahatmakanejeeves. Smiling pictures of kids before the got on the planes.

6. Someone should call her on this.
To my knowledge, no such photos have ever been produced and in all likelihood, do not even exist (especially of any incinerated children on flight 175, which hit the south tower of the WTC).

Someone needs to call her on this. Show us the photos, Ms. Malkin!

7. Only 3 children on flight 175
Again, I question the existence of any such photos. There were 3 children on flight 175, the flight which hit the south tower. I'm having much difficulty believing that any of those 3 children's bodies survived the impact, fireball and pancaking intact. I do not believe there was an intact fuselage containing intact bodies, incinerated or not.

I sent Miss Malkin an email asking for her source(s) of these photos. Her email addy is:

15. the FAA would not release the final three minutes
of CVR to the families of the victims, how did she hear the final exclamation of anyone? And didn't they tell us the passengers were fighting the terrorists as the plane crashed? How were they driving the plane anywhere if they had lost full control of the plane?

More BS.

16. The recording has not been made public, but the transcript was released.
Edited on Thu Sep-14-06 02:42 PM by mahatmakanejeeves
The transcripts of the cockpit voice recorder ... were made public as part of the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui, but the actual recording has not been released. At the start of the transcript, a woman is heard pleading for her life. This is thought to be the voice of a flight attendant.

The tape is reported to contain voices saying "Allahu Akbar," English shouts that included "Let's get them!" and "In the cockpit. If we don't, we'll die" then screaming and other sounds followed by silence.
