"A PSA -- if you get yourself banned on Democratic Undergound, don't think you can come here and carry on whatever crap got you banned at DU in the first place."

Hmmm... I always miss the good stuff.

2. I don't think so.
I was just checking the top stories there and saw that - It piqued my curiosity. Of course, I will probably never find out - but wondered if it was any of the recent barrage of trolls that visited after Brit Hume's mention of this site.

4. True, DU's LBN forum is widely used by the left (and perhaps right)
Late Breaking News is the best place to get the most comprehensive news.

From there they are drawn in on many of the discussions.

15. Apparently TruthisAll was expelled from Kos.
"Kos,
It appears that I have just been banned after two weeks on Daily Kos. I just found out. No warning. Nada. It's obvious that you are referring to me in your midday thread. It cannot just be a coincidence, since yesterday you silently took away my ability to edit or comment. You didn't have the decency to inform me that you would do so, much less tell me why. And you never responded to the three e-mails I sent to the techs telling them I could no longer comment or post.

So, these are these diaries of mine are "crap" to you?"

-my take (just mho)
not moderate enough. Both DU and Kos are progressive sites that work within the Dem party system. Both feel that the dem party is the best way to beat back the neo-cons.

Folks are allowed to be progressive, they just shouldn't attack Dems.

18. He's referring to TruthIsAll...who got banned at KOS...KOS hates election
issues. TIA says he did not have any flame wars there, just posting his stuff. I don't visit KOS except when it's linked. I like the users there, some great stuff, but the "management" attitude is a bit harsh on intellectual inquiry and election and voting rights issues.

No Conspiracies. No Fraudsters
by Armando

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/8/3/03619/14280

Let me be the first asshole to tell you that bullshit fraud theories and bullshit conspiracy theories are not welcome.

Markos has said it. He means it.

I believe tonight was a great night and a sign that a Fighting Dem Party can and will take back the Congress in 2006.

I don't want to hear baseless theories on fraud and other nonsense. I think, no, I know markos feels the same way.

You want to waste your time, do it somewhere else.

My tip jar will be the fraudster's chance to troll rate me. Cuz once you start diarying your cock and bull fraud theories, markos will show you the door. With my applause in the background.

* Armando's diary :: ::

Guess this guy can't post there either.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. NOT SUITABLE for DailyKos

Was the 2004 Election Stolen?

Republicans prevented more than 350,000 voters in Ohio from casting ballots or having their votes counted -- enough to have put John Kerry in the White House.
http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/10432334/was_the_2004_election_stolen
ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR.

Page 1 2 3 4
The complete article, with Web-only citations, follows. Talk and read about it in our National Affairs blog, or see exclusive documents, sources, charts and commentary.

Like many Americans, I spent the evening of the 2004 election watching the returns on television and wondering how the exit polls, which predicted an overwhelming victory for John Kerry, had gotten it so wrong. By midnight, the official tallies showed a decisive lead for George Bush -- and the next day, lacking enough legal evidence to contest the results, Kerry conceded. Republicans derided anyone who expressed doubts about Bush's victory as nut cases in ''tinfoil hats,'' while the national media, with few exceptions, did little to question the validity of the election. The Washington Post immediately dismissed allegations of fraud as ''conspiracy theories,''(1) and The New York Times declared that ''there is no evidence of vote theft or errors on a large scale.''(2)

...or this guy either. Bob Herbert, NYT Columnist - NOT Suitable for DailyKOS

Op-Ed Columnist
Those Pesky Voters
By BOB HERBERT
Published: June 12, 2006

Mr. Kennedy's article echoed and expanded upon an article in Harper's ("None Dare Call It Stolen," by Mark Crispin Miller) that ran last summer. Both articles documented ugly, aggressive and frequently unconscionable efforts by G.O.P. stalwarts to disenfranchise Democrats in Ohio, especially those in urban and heavily black areas.

The point man for these efforts was the Ohio secretary of state, J. Kenneth Blackwell, a Republican who was both the chief election official in the state and co-chairman of the 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign in Ohio — just as Katherine Harris was the chief election official and co-chairwoman of the Bush-Cheney campaign in Florida in 2000.

No one has been able to prove that the election in Ohio was hijacked. But whenever it is closely scrutinized, the range of problems and dirty tricks that come to light is shocking. What's not shocking, of course, is that every glitch and every foul-up in Ohio, every arbitrary new rule and regulation, somehow favored Mr. Bush.

<snip>

The right to vote is supposed to mean something in the United States. The idea of going to war overseas in the name of the democratic process while making a mockery of that process here at home is just too ludicrous.

29. so much for supporting the Democratic Party
If Kos and CO. do not recognize and support election reform then I have to question if they are indeed true Democrats. How in the fuck do they think Dems will win with the Thousands of crooked schemes and machines stacked against them? IT ain't no fucking theory it IS a conspiracy. Perhaps they are either complicit or stupid?
