There's no doubt the Bush Aministration has crossed a line with the latest Torture Cover Up and their trying to "strong arm (or break legs) efforts in the House/Senate to block any effort to investigate their Crimes or hold them accountable in any way.

I have an old VHS of Herman Wouk's wonderful WWII Miniseries and last night watched as Jews were inducted into a Nazi Concentration camp and told to "TURN OVER ALL YOUR POSSESSIONS...Jewelry, books, personal items, false teeth, etc." I had a flash to those pictures on CNN of Airline Travelers dumping their toopaste, water bottles, hair gel and other liquids into big trash bins because of the LATEST TERROR THREAT.

It struck me watching "Winds of War, War and Remembrance and Part III" (the Concentration Camp Internment" that Wouk was trying to do a documentary that would LIVE IN OUR MEMORY ....SO THAT THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!

But seeing the Jews depicted in this wonderful MiniSeries dumping every thing they owned on the counter as the Nazi's commanded because they had been told they would have "private apartments" with "a view" and that's why they got on those "Death Trains" was a huge scary reminder of HOW WILLINGLY WE GO TO OUR OWN DEMISE!
