Fire Falwell and Robertson For Their Past Comments...

Remember when Falwell said....The 9/11 attacks were Gods punishment for the USA acceptace of homosexuality and Pat Robertsons commentsabout Katrina saying that it was Gods wrath for the loose lifestyle in NOLA.....


Should they both not be fired as well.....Watching Scarebough tonite he is calling on all people to write ABC and ask for an apology (aka Rosies head) saying the comments were dangerous and devisive in this country......How does SB feel about Falwells and Robertson past comments.....

1. I very rarely watch Scarborough, but I happened to tune in to that...

unfortunately they missed the point entirely. The Religious Right is behind the President's policies which are stirring up terrorism and making al Qaeda the wet dream that they want it to be. Ergo, the Religious Right (in all its forms) is ultimately behind any terrorist threat.

Far as I know they are autonomous or at least self employed. Rosie's comments were right on btw, and I've never been one of her fans. Maybe I'll have to reconsider.

3. Robertson, Falwell, Limpballs, Hannity, etc. are all just noise makers.

They are all intertwined thru all the fancy sounding "institutes" and "foundations" that have pseudo-fellows and are nothing more than a gadfly to distract from Sciafa and Kroc's Grover Norquist agenda of Corporations uber Alles.

They create moral panic and political panic in order to distract us from the destruction of the US industrial base to the megacorps.

They get airtime, why? Because CNN/C-SPAN/MSNBC, etc. give them credentials that they actually lack. Try out David Brock's The Rep. Noise Machine and see the interconnections from AEI to Heritage to George Will, Thomas and all the other hot air.

See, Jesus and Moses really want to keep us safe to invest our own money instead of having pensions or SS. They also want to do away with taxes except for a national poll tax or sales tax. Jesus and Moses want us to defeat Islam for Yahweh! And send our jobs overseas and poison our air and water and...stone the gays...and...you get it.

It's all a farce cooked up by a lot of lazy people who don't want to really teach or face a critical review of their writing to keep us as dark as possible. Thank God for the British press and Amy Goodman.
