I'm so proud of my daughter - look what she posted on Myspace.com
Some of you know her as punkondrugs - 17 years old and look what she posted on myspace, try to overlook the misspellings.

i don't like bush because he gave in to the terrorists.

i don't think i will ever forgive him for those seven minutes.

when osama bin laden organized the atacks on the towers, which 5 years later is still a pile of rubble, his demands were to withdraw our troops from saudi arabia.

we did. they are now our ally.

he has STILL NOT BEEN CAUGHT! bush: "I truly am not that concerned about him." march 13 2003 press conference

(later, bush: "I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations." bush-kerry debate)

the team searching for osama bin laden has been disbanded.

the president played down this occurence by saying everyone in the military is still searching for him, it is just his dedicated team that has been disbanded.

there is no huge search for him anymore, it's just a "well, if you happen to see him...."

then we invaded afghanistan, which was great. now where women had no rights they have slightly more. good job george.

but then we invaded iraq.

hussein was a horrible man, but a secular leader. he wanted al quieda out of his country, as they were a threat to his power.

women's rights? in iraq women had plenty of rights before, but now it is a cespool of taliban recruiters and such. women have way less rights now.

as for spreading the sweet nectar of democracy, first of all we need to fix our own system before we go imposing on others.

("voting irregularites"= more votes for bush in one district than regestered voters. in dominatly)

second, YOU DO NOT FORCE FEED DEMPCRACY!!!!!

you supply the rebels with supplies, sit back, and send help as THEY REQUEST IT.

and try not killing over 100,000 of them.

also, "war on terror." HMMMMMMMMMMM...... terror happens to be a tactic, so we are in a war on a tactic. that our leaders use.

(dick cheney: "Because if we make the wrong choice, then the danger is that we'll get hit again, that we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States, and that we'll fall back into the pre-9/11 mind set if you will, that in fact these terrorist attacks are just criminal acts, and that we're not really at war. I think that would be a terrible mistake for us." september 2004. right before an election?)

sound like he's trying to instill terror for political means. could he possibly be politicizing 9/11? no! they would never do that.

a secuirity threat: the color coded threat sytem. on the site it has a frakin' list of what you can or can't bring on a plane. could a terrorist access that site and go "hey, let's go tomorow, it will go back down to teal by tomorow." because you don't wanna fly on maroon.

one last thing, then that's it.
gas prices are going down for the elections so people don't vote based on them, enjoy them while they last.

thank's for listening. i think i'm done.

4. I just had my s/o read it to her 21 year-old daughter in Florida!
Edited on Thu Sep-14-06 09:08 PM by Texas Explorer
That actually killed two birds, so to speak, because my s/o is rather apathetic about politics and is more worried about American Idol that George Bush. And she's a voter! So, having her read it to her daughter was a good way for her to absorb some of the stuff that bounces right off of her when I'm telling it.

On Edit: Her 17 year-old daughter will read it too when she gets home from the jv football game tonite. :)

22. Does she get crap for her screen name, though?
If you have no problem with her being known as "punkondrugs," I really have no problem. But in my experience, that kind of screen name gets you dissed or dismissed.

Screen pseudonyms are kind of messy, in the best of circumstances. I gave up using them myself, simply appending "toon" to my name to indicate my interest in cartoons. And I'm infuriated by people who use pretentious, dramatic, self-pumping screen names like "bigdick69" or "Moriarty" or "Joe Hallenback."

I just wonder if she has gotten any hate mail or garbage from people for her screen name?

23. LOL - That's only her DU screen name, not myspace
and I don't give her crap for it because it's total irony. She has a good head on her shoulders.

I appreciate your concern though.
