I heard him say that shortly after the war started. He also said on The View that he was giving up his Canadian citizenship, according to someone who posted this in DU. He's a jerk who hides his right wing leanings in humour...IMO.

I've never watched that show. The thing about Norm is, I believe he is like Dennis Miller, who used his supposed "conversion" to conservatism since 9/11, hoping to further his career. McDonald's brother Neil is a well-respected journalist at the CBC who tells it like it is with regards to Bush. I doubt if the brothers see eye to eye.
