Democrats and Republicans in Congress need to show some courage

Most seem to be operating out of fear. When 20 out of 28 Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee vote to endorse torture and secret prisons, something is terribly awry. We cannot continue with this type of government. We will need to get rid of them all. It is insane. They do not represent the people or this country. It is a disgrace.

1. Courage and Congress have nothing in common.

We continue to wish it were different, but we both know better Kentuck. You have posted here too long, I know how you feel. If Congress felt some off our pain, if they participated in the war, if they earned the median wage in their respective districts, if they had to make it on publicly available medical care, maybe it would be different. But they don't need Social Security, they are completely removed from the day to day struggle of the common man and let's face it they only respond to the special interest big campaign donors.

When do you hear from them? Once every two years when they want your money and your vote and the reality of it is that they need neither!
