Can we whisper it windfall profits tax
could this be a big reason for falling oil prices? That would be one of the first things I'd push for make the oil companies give back what they've stolen.

4. I don't think you made obscene royalties
I'm talking about the oil companies who raked in billions in profits while we scraped bowed went to pawnshops, went to our last relative to borrow money just to get to work.
That's who should pay, ceo's who make 1000 times what the minimum wage worker makes, they should pay.

why should gas company executives have an incentive to increase gas prices for bigger checks?

a Windfall Profits Tax would encourage these executives to reinvest such royalties into the company rather than for more personal luxuries. It would also bring in more revenue to reduce deficit spending and help cover the cost of this war in Iraq. Most of us opposed this war, but none of us should be in favor of only allowing this expense to further increase the size of debt.

Nobody likes paying taxes, but who doesn't like getting something for nothing?
