At the President's News Conference today it was all terror, 9-11 and Iraq questions from the media.

This focus is actually helping the GOP.

As long as the subject is terror laws, no matter how illegal, no matter how unpopular, Rove is activating the base, and might even swing some indies soon--unless we get the focus back on the Republican Culture of Corruption, Jack Abramoff, Duke Cunningham, The GOP Support of Forced Abortion and Sex Slavery in the Marianas, Tom Delay, Coingate and the myriad real issues like the Donut Hole in Medicare, the 50% dropout rate among black and Hispanic high schoool students, the lack of any healthcare for 47 million and the tripling of health insurance and college tuition, complete with backstabbing by the GOP by cutting Pell Grants and passing the Bankruptcy Bill, we are not going to win even the House, much less the Senate.

And if the blogosphere can give $40 million to Howard Dean in his quest for President, WHY THE HELL CAN'T WE PUT UP THE BAT AGAIN AND RAISE A NEW $15 MILLION TO $20 MIILION IN THE NEXT TWO MONTHS? RIGHT NOW THE DNC ONLY HAS $12 MILLION, A FRACTION OF WHAT THE RNC HAS!!

To sum up:

1. The point has been made on Iraq not being the War on Terror. Lets get lots of posts and activism on the issues mentioned above.

2. Let's get the DNC to put the bat up and let's raise $20 Million to Win back the House through Howard--and let's do it NOW.
