He has obviously asked them to do something that enough of them have said NO to. They don't want to play his reindeer games. They know that they are the last stop on the decency train and that what they do here, will define not just who they are as individuals, but who we are as a nation.

As I was reminded in another thread tonight, there ARE CIA agents wanted in Italy for crossing the line. Who knows what else other countries might be investigating right now that we don't know about yet.

He wants them to do something that they don't want to do and it appears that they have drawn the line in the sand.

I hope they still refuse to do his immoral bidding if this mess of legislation does find it's way to his desk.

We might be in for a CIA coup.

Interesting times, indeed.

2. Somebody has broken the law in many ways
that much we know. Its a matter of bringing them to justice now, which is what Bush is trying to avoid for his self and others.

5. I think many someones have
and I also think that the CIA sees the handwriting on the wall. They know that they will be the fall guy when the shit hits the fan, again. Hell, they are already trying to make 9/11 all about the intelligent communities and their lack of communication, painting the intelligence wrong even in the face of the new committee report.

They know they will be the ones going down for all of it.

13. Yup...look at Abu Ghraib. "A few bad apples."
Nothing to do with the higher-ups, or with policy.

9. BINGO......
We need to harrass this criminal until the day he dies. I want his pension from the government to be exhausted every year he is alive just paying the laywers bills. I want Bush to be...."PINOCHETED"....from the moment he leaves office..If I were elected president and it was January 20 2009 My first act after swearing in as president would be to order the arrest right then and there of Bush, Cheney Rumsfeld, Rice, et al and have them removed forciblly from the podium before I gave my innaurgural speech. I would start the speech with these words..."WE ARE A NATION OF LAWS and I will not share this honored place with people I believe to be criminals against humanity. I first want to offer my sincere appologies to the citizens of this country who were lied to and deceived by the previous administartion and I would also ask for the forgiveness of every innocent family in Iraq who have suffered because of the lies and deceptions of the previous administration! "

Man would that be fun or what..Oh yeah I would have Cindy Sheehan hold the bible for me as I was sworn in.

4. We will owe a debt of thanks to those
who honor their oaths of office. To protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. . . It is the Government of Laws, not of men, that protect our Freedom.

That man...that horribly deluded and obviously unstable man.

I hope Congress makes a stand...because it really is a defining moment ...for them...and for us.

10. I think this is the results of a Bottoms Up movement
and they are reaping what they sowed. I think it is clear that they left Gen Karpowski(?) out to dry even thought they brought up the Gitmo guy to bring in his procedures. So, a lot of military people have seen this and they want no part of it.

I'm betting that a lot of mid , upper and lower level people are asking for commands in Writing and no one is willing to take the heat without documentation.

Although Rumsfeld called the conventions "quaint", I guess he isn't willing to put into writing exactly how quaint.

12. And unfortunately, they will say that putting it in writing would be
a security risk.

These people suck. I hope the CIA exposes them.

Where the hell ARE the papers that could put them away? Someone had to keep notes, don't you think?
