If the Senate compromises and gives him what he wants, he will have license to call anyone, anywhere an enemy combatant, whisk them up and secret them away with no right to a lawyer, trial or jury. No right to see the evidence, no right to even attend the trial, and he can stick firecrackers up your butt to make you confess.

Sound alarmist? It is very un-american to say the least, and if you extrapolate his argument to a logical end, that is what we will become. A tin hat dictatorship.

Call your reps and say NO to torture and YES to the Constitution.
