...A for-profit catastrophe rescue service in Palm Beach, Florida

WOW! We thought our vacation was ruined when it hit, but all we had to do was pack our bermudas and sunscreen, and in just minutes, we were out of this:

and into this!

Thanks, Galaxy!

2. Rich people can be pretty stupid with their money
You, too, can pay $500 to be informed that a hurricane is coming, and for the right to buy a $1,900 ticket on HelpJet!

Or, you could load up the Lexus with $50 worth of gas and watch the Weather Channel. I dunno.

Sarena Morello, a Delray Beach psychotherapist, was the first to write a check to HelpJet for her and her 24-year-old daughter. After 28 years in South Florida, she felt she couldn't weather another hurricane, and had made plans to spend the entire season in Austin. When she heard about HelpJet on the local news she was overcome with excitement.

"That was the solution I've been praying for," she said. "To me it was an investment in peace of mind."

5. When they could, people always did this.
The Royals used to leave their cities if you recall. Same with the higher ups in the church. Not that I think it is right but many make money to be able to do such things. When it got hot inland our family had a beach home, when half the pop. was out of work in the middle of the depression. It maybe a class thing but it sure has been with us as long as history has.

4. If we did that, every day would be a holiday in this country since
the Bush regime came to power.

6. One of the first...
"a Delray Beach psychotherapist, was the first to write a check to HelpJet"

It's not surprising. One would have to be trained in psychology to alleviate the guilt of leaving your brethren behind in a disaster, with the money and resources that might have saved them. That's America... NOT! Only according to sick degenerate sociopaths.
