So what are the decreed punishments for war crimes & tyranny?

So what are the decreed punishments for war crimes & tyranny?
I mean, if a person were found to have committed numerous, grievous war crimes, or perpetrated repeated acts of tyranny and it could be proven in court, and that person were convicted, what is the punishment on the books?

1. Public Hanging , shot by a firing squad, electric chair....
I don't know if that is the real punishment for these crimes, but those would be my picks.

2. War Crimes Act of 1996 says death is the punishment for an act
(of torture, abuse, etc) that leads to another persons death.

4. waterboarding is a very effective 'tool' for extracting info from punks
so yes, it'd be nice to see, although it should be free.
