If Clinton had done the same things as Bush....?
Do you think you woud have defended him? Or would you have felt he had the best interests of the nation at heart and you would not have been too concerned? If he had secret prisons and broke the FISA laws and eavesdropped on unknowing victims, would you still be supportive of him? Would you think the Republicans were just playing "politics"? Would you think the Republicans were only exaggerating when they said that he gave the order to "torture"? Would you think they were only going after Clinton because he was the Democratic President??

6. How could the answer possibly be yes?
What would be defensible about it if Clinton did it?

8. Lefty protesting people (dems) like us got rid of LBJ
Have you never heard of Chicago 68?
Repubs of their time got rid of Nixon.
I think the people of the same party are the final ones to do the "business".
Maybe (but prolly just wishful hope) we are seeing the true start of the downfall of the the Bushitler regime... done in finally by repugs.

3. No
No one should be doing the things that Bush is doing, even if they are a Democrat. This issue goes beyond party loyalty to me. It's just wrong to undermine everything that America is supposed to stand for. So it makes no difference to me.

9. And this would be assuming that 9/11 happened on Clinton's watch?
But if that had happened, he would have been impeached again, and the Democrats reputation would have been destroyed for generations, as weak on national defense. And Joe Lieberman would have stood up and given a speech asking that a criminal trial be started against Bill Clinton..
