And in my mind what is different about it that 1) a much larger percentage of that site is based on discussing DUers. Not only do they have entire forums devoted to DU, but it appears that that's what most of the site is about, and they other forums are just after thoughts. It tallies the numbers of visitors, and when I was there, almost all of the users were browsing the DU forum.

A second thing that was really kind of creepy, was the way they critiqued our photos. They was of course, the expected stuff like, "that Momgonepostal is an ugly cow" but also a lot of sexual observations like who was "doable."

I guess part of what was weird, was the personal nature of it all. I've posted things I've seen at FR before, but usually don't even notice WHO said it, let alone make a bunch of creepy sexual comments about the poster, or follow said poster around for weeks to try to see what else they might say.
