It is evil. It is a tool of failure, because it fails to work. None of the information can be trusted because the detainees will say anything, do anything, believe anything to get the torturers to stop. It's evilness is precisely why the geneva conventions were born in the first place. For an American president to fail to understand with CLARITY what the geneva conventions means, for an American president to argue in favor of harsh interrogation/torture flies in the face of what America is all about. And what Americans must understand, with CLARITY, is that all Bush is desperately trying to do is to immunize himself against war crimes he knows he has already committed.

Evil must be stopped. Those that argue evil must be perpetrated to promote freedom are, in themselves immoral, void of integrity, and evil themselves. Torture is evil. Torture is anti american.
