Just an ABC affiliate but the station is owned by CC. It's a possible opportunity to make TV commercials for a living again and I have to try for it. I wasn't going to say anything but I sure could use some DU good luck energy sent my way.

Give a damn about what you think of it. If you think ABC or Clear Channel is a shitty environment to work and decide to go work for them anyway for the next several years and go home each night bitching about how bad they treat workers but don't muster up enough courage to quit and look for another job for fear of disruption in income, that's your own problem, not mine and not DU.

If you have a crisis of conscience working for a company that attempts to destroy freedom of expression in America and don't do anything about it, then your conscience is a problem you made on your own, and none of us here at DU have any say in that or what your conscience says.

What do YOU think about it? That's the important question. How do you measure it? By your standards, is what you are doing making you out into a hypocrite if you attempt to measure yourself up by whatever principles you may hold? I can't answer that question for you, but you most definitely can answer it yourself because you already know the answer.
