For what shall bush & his pals be Investigated & Indicted?
Edited on Sun Sep-17-06 11:36 AM by Philosoraptor
What would an investigation of bush and his buddies look like? How would it manifest itself exactly? What particular charges will be brought on which particular crimes?

What treasonous acts shall he and his be accused of? And what are the punishments for said crimes? Will we prove that no man is above the law, like we did with the last legally elected president?

If bush and his masters faced the courts, how would it all go? Would they all skate as some have surmised? Will the underlings be punished? Will the mighty bush vampire family be forever immune to the law's consequences?

If it ever got as far as investigations, indictments and trials, the republicans would wail and weep that it will hurt the nation, even though hurting the nation didn't seem too important a few short years ago.

1. Honestly, at this point, I'm in favor of just lynching
Although, I guess, a public trial might be
more educational to the public at large

3. A public trial would be very enlightening.

Putting Bush and Cheney under oath and forcing the truth out of them would probably be very revealing. We need to know for sure what the source of their malfaesence is and destroy that source. If not they will lie dormant to rise up another day.

5. LOL. If they manage to get these torture laws through Congress,
wouldn't it be ironic if they are used against them? I don't approve though. We can get the truth from them without waterboarding.

2. Treason and war crimes.
We could start with treason in Congress and after we convict him there, part of his sentence should be to be shipped to the international court in the Hague to be tried for war crimes. I also consider this a package deal, that Cheney be tried along with him.

6. According to Sen. Bayh CNN this morning
We are going to work together and amend the WAR CRIMES ACT.
This is not the subject; was I thought it was ARTICLE 3 of GEneva Convention,
defining the humiliation of prisoners.
