If the elections are stolen once again
What do you see happening ? Is it possible there will be mass protests or do you think people will just play it safe and hope they are spared .

1. I don't think they will be stolen
I think our leadership is just inept. Any hope of regaining anything is already lost. We may gain a seat or two, but this one falls on the leadership.

3. I would love to see mass protests against the American Norsefire Party
(thats the GOP, to those of you who did not see or read V for Vendetta)but I guess that long there is a football game or Survivor, most won't budge from their couches, unless there is a 2x4 event that hits them. But then again I can be surprised, hey if they can do it in Mexico, or an Orange Revolution like in the Ukraine, let's see.

for the 2008 election if the 2006 elections were stolen. We'd vote absentee before we went. Just get outta Dodge before the election night. BUT, just found out that you have to be cancer free for 5 years before they'll accept you as an immigrant, so I guess that's out of the question.

5. I predict
That if we don't make tremendous gains in the election the usual suspects will sit at their computers and cry fraud, because it is a well known fact that when Democrats loose an election it was because it was stolen from them.

The rest of the country will carry on with its business.

10. A) If you can't question an election,
do you really live in a democracy?

B) If Dems don't make significant gains with the Pugs in waist deep doo-doo, then something is wrong...right? And what might that be?

11. I predict
we will take a few seats in both chambers in '06 but not enough to instigate anything embarrassing against the Bush family.

In '08 our presidential candidate will be selected for us. It will probably be Hilary & she will win. We will also win one chamber of Congress. Then "they" will tell us to shut the fuck up regarding election fraud. By then, of course, the Democratic party will pretty much be fully infiltrated by the neo-cons & the masses will never know that their electoral process has been compromised. They will carry on with business as usual.

The Prima Donnas Endangering a Democratic Victory in 2006
by David Sirota

Last week, in response to an awful article in Roll Call newspaper, I posted an open letter to Nancy Pelosi asking her to tell her fellow House Democrats to stop running to reporters bragging about how they are shaking down Big Money interests for cash. As I said in the letter, such behavior insults the intelligence of voters, since it is happening at the very same time Democrats are hammering the GOP for its "culture of corruption." Two Republican Congressmen have been sent to jail on corruption charges, a U.S. Senator running in a tight race for reelection is under federal investigation, Democrats are correctly making the "clean up Washington" message part of their pitch - yet some self-important, its-all-about-me lawmakers nonetheless are only too eager to tell any Beltway reporter they can corner about how they are vacuuming in cash from special interests.

I paid lottsa good money for my crystal ball. ;)
On the other hand, maybe I read too much sci fi.

7. Just compare us to the Soviet people after elections.
What did they do? Nothing. After a while it is just accepted.

8. "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile--hoping it will eat him last"
--Winston Churchill

If we don't know what will happen already then we already know what will happen. If there isn't a plan for success, then we follow the plan for defeat. Opposition doesn't just sprout out of the ground like weeds to choke a garden, it must be directed and planned. Right now, there is little opposition and too many people simply just don't care. I know this election is over before it starts but my hope is we can use it to convince others that our elections are compromised.

9. I think the Republicans will maintain a majority in both
houses of Congress, but they'll sacrifice some seats in an attempt to placate the talking heads and pollsters.

It won't make any sense, but the commentariat will buy into it anyway.

The powers that be are either satisfied thus far with Bush's war endeavors or they'll pull the the plug -- Whether using election fraud or simply allow Bush GOP'ers abandon ship...

Let things coast for a while, then come back with a vengeance to complete the current job.
Let the Dem's run things for a while to renew their (neocons) ammo supply.
