David Barton with Wallbuilders is talking about America's "forgotten" history and heroes, and its Biblical and spiritual roots.

Local politicos reported to be in attendance include Ernest Istook and Jim Williamson.

Thought somebody might be interested in hearing for themselves what passes as a church service in some places and how our history has been and is being misrepresented.

had no interest and did not watch it. I believe the ratings showed that the football game shown on another network had twice the viewers.

is a hack and a charlatan.

Legitimate historians have proven him wrong over and over again. I think he's been shown guilty of plagarism (selective),too - but I'm not absolutely sure about that charge. I haven't researched him in a couple of years.

His revisionist version of history permeates the fundie churches. They WANT to believe that Washington and Jefferson and Madison were all "good "Christians" - they absolutely canNOT handle the truth that these three most definitely were NOT! (Not by their definition, anyway.)

I truly do not understand how this church maintains its non-profit status. They are very active politically.
