We have a petition drive to recall the President..... (of our assn.)

People are fed up with him lying, covering up things, the board spending money like drunken sailors and not letting questioners speak up at our meetings and being abusive. They are also hiring their buddies to do jobs for the assn. and massively overpaying them. (Sound familiar?)

There were two guys trying to get the truth out to us and they tried to shut them down. The President said "No-one wants to hear what you have to say" to my buddy and I stood up and said "Yes we do - I think everyone here would like to hear all about it." They then shut up and let him speak. Then the President interrupted him in the middle of his speach and told him "We're not going to listen to this character assasination." I stood up and told them "if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen." We had to fight tooth and nail to get anything out. Afterwards, we had people coming up to us thanking us.

Now THAT folks is how this country should be run.....

One of the President's cronies came up to me and said that they should be following Robert's rules and that the police could have been called because it was "out of hand." No-one was even shouting or anything.

I think if I weren't so p.o.'d about BushCo doing the same crap - I wouldn't have had the guts to do all this. (I'm like one of the few young people living in a elderly community in Florida - and this was all men and I'm a female). So folks George Dumbya Bush HAS been good for something...

We will be having elections in a few months and are finding people to run for the board who agree with us. Right now we only have one person on the board - out of 7 who is worth a damn. And when he tried to ask questions - they also shut him down after only a few questions.

The good new is that I think we are going to be able to elect our people and get at least one of the bozos out of there.

I was just telling one of my neighbors about it and she said "It sounds just like Bush, Cheney and Halliburton." This is in a very Republican area too!
