CT newspaper skewers Lieberman
This is the Manchester Journal-Inquirer. Back in the 80s & 90s, this was a very RW newspaper, but their editorials in recent weeks have had a decidedly center-left feel to them, including praise for Jack Murtha, and criticizing Dems for copping out by only asking for Rummy's resignation (said that Bush should resign!) They must have gotten new owners some time this century and I missed it.

here are some excerpts, as it will probably not be online until Monday - they are usually a day behind in getting their stuff online. The paper's website is www. journalinquirer.com. They ran this op-ed the same day my Republican appeasement LTTE ran in their paper as well.

>>>
Almost 50 years ago, a reporter asked President Dwight Eisenhower what major contributions his vice president, Richard M. Nixon, had made to the Eisenhower administration. Ike's response was telling and hilarious. He said, "If you give me a week, I might think of one."

Well, a few days ago, our incumbent junior senator, Joe Lieberman, a former candidate for president and vice president of the United States, told reporters that he needed a few more days to formulate , and properly articulate, his position on the war in Iraq. He wouldn't be talking about it with them until then.

Say what?

This man has been in the U.S. Senate for 18 years and he doesn't know what he thinks, or how to express what he thinks, on the war in Iraq?
<<<<

goes on to really skewer him "Why should Lieberman, after all the time this issue has been before us, and all the time time he has been in the Senate, and all the resolutions he has co-sponsored on foreign policy and on Iraq, have to figure out what he thinks..."

1. My answer to your question:
Loserman needs to think about his answer because he will be lying, and he needs to fgure out the least obvious way to lie.

2. He probably had to bounce his response off some focus groups first
gauge the response, adjust his wording to the response, then release his response to the general public. That should roughly take a week.
:sarcasm:

I'll check this out when it comes online. I'll also be sure to check out your LTTE!

3. Joe LIEberman is a scum bag
He is a republican, through and through...Go Joe, join your flock of bigoted, opportunistic lying assholes.

You are no longer wanted.

Give me a few days to formulate a position on a war I blindly support? Are you fucking kidding me? You excoriated Lamont over his inexperience, touting your own, and you ask for a few days to formulate a position on something you voted for and fellate Bushco for?

Asshole.
