Republicans' fertile future........"procreating more than liberals"
An interesting article from the San Francisco Chronicle:

"If you're a liberal, here's what you can do to make Karl Rove a very happy man: Get yourself a labradoodle. Or any other kind of dog, for that matter. Even a cat will do.

Just don't have children."

So there you have it Dems - get out there and start breeding your asses off.

1. I didn't think the Repukes like sex
Oh...just missionary position right?

It's funny. My wife came from a very conservative, very religious family. Sex is going to hell material before marriage right? Of course she was pregnant at 18. Her one sister was engaged at 17 and moved very far away at 18. Her other sister was bi-sexual for awhile and then got pregnant at 24 on a one-nighter.

Sorry to tangent here. But this story is plain weird.

10. They seem to enjoy sex with children
And selling themselves as man-whores on the Internet.

2. The reporter almost completely missed the point of the liberals
We don't reproduce like mad because we understand that if humanity
were to quadruple its population with every generation, pretty soon
there won't be any hope for the planet. We understand that having
a few wanted, well-supported kids is more important than cranking
out a litter of a dozen.

Fundy Republicans, of course, believe they're going to be raptured
up into Heaven so who cares about overpopulation?

3. Uh-oh. We only had one ..

and we 'dopted her.

We're raisin' her to be a good liberal!

On edit:
My parents were very conservative, and ASSumed that I would turn out to be a conservative; that assumption was a VERY poor one.

4. Hey, adoption works - and of course you seem to go against the norm
mentioned in the article - just proves it's not the genes but the upbrining.

7. It sure is the upbringing, by the way.

My daughter and I are so much alike that, if she playfully tells them she's adopted, people tell her she's a liar.

5. You aren't born with ideology
It comes to you as you grow and establish positions on various issues. And with conservatives ruining things right now, future generations won't be on their side, because they won't trust them.

9. Ah, you are so right.
Trust is everything. I've actually gotten friends to vote for the Democrat in a particular race by saying, "You'll just have to trust me. Do you trust me? There's not much time, and I heavily researched this; it's a long story. Here's the short of it ... I'll show you the long later."

It works.

6. My parents were both extremely conservative
They had five of us, and four of us were extremely liberal. The youngest was fairly liberal until he married a very right-wing Southern Baptist, and now goes along with whatever she says. My three children, and my two nieces are all liberal.

For me, it was a question of figuring out that some things my parents tried to teach us weren't true, so I pretty much stopped believing everything they said, unless I could come to the same conclusion on my own.

8. This works on a faulty assumption...
...that assumption being that conservatives breed conservatives. My parents are both very conservative, and my brother and I are some of the more liberal people I know.

Breed away, dumbasses. Your children will grow up to resent and fight your Nazi beliefs.

11. The "red state births" they're talking about
Are mainly Hispanic and other minorities. Unless they think the right wing retirees in Phoenix are doing it all.
