It's not that she's a woman - it's that she's an idiot. I've been perfectly happy with Leslie Stall, Barbara Walters, etc.

Men don't have a monopoly on idiocy - it only seems like it sometimes. Thank god for Katie Couric to remind us of that.

3. Lesley Stahl is my favorite news reporter

She should have been picked to anchor CBS.

This morning, while watching Sunday Morning - one of the last great news shows on TV - I realized that I did not watch anything on CBS since Couric took over. And at some point there was a promotion, or something, and she was telling how someone praised her appearance in life, compared to as seen on TV. All I could do was groan.
